I moved to New York to start my acting career.
As an actor, I have to go on auditions daily. I always make sure to show up with a handful of pre-rehearsed monologues and prepared sides, but I also have to look my best. I am not the type to spend much time on my hair, so having a great cut and color is necessary to meet the demands of a long audition day.
I went to TwoDo when my hair was dull and lifeless and it certainly did NOT look good on camera. I needed a look that fit my personality without requiring a lot of work on my part. Megan and everyone at TwoDo gave me more than I could have hoped for. My hair looks fun and modern and very natural. The cut is easy to maintain and requires virtually no effort on my part.
When I walk into the audition room now, I have no concerns about being camera ready, which gives me the confidence I need to focus on my work and hopefully get the job!

I had a dream... Sound familiar? Well, my dream was to move from my home in Austria to the greatest city of them all - New York! For all the obvious reasons like fashion, art, non-stop nightlife, cultural impact from all over the world, and well, New York also has the best services available anywhere.
Like when I was in desperate need for a new hairdo, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a small salon on the Upper West Side. I just knew this place was special when I found it, and sure enough Megan was amazing and her team made me feel like someone I didn't even know existed. I felt sexy, fresh and ready to conquer the world.
Also, what I loved most about the cut was that I was able to maintain it myself so easily. It wasn't one of those cuts that only looked good while having the "master" on hand. So, thank you Megan and thank you TwoDo!
Columbia graduate student ready to move on
Her hair care routine: A quick blow-dry (no products) and a bi-monthly trim.
Her complaint: My hair looks flat when it gets too long.
Her comments: I wanted a substantial change and a haircut that would flatter my face. I got an amazing cut, very stylish, and Megan's hair coloring results were wonderful. Some people thought it was a drastic change and didn't recognize me immediately.

Her complaint: My hair didn't have much style or body, and there were these old, chunky, yucky highlights.
Her comments: I wanted short hair with a lot of style, but it had to be easy to take care of. The stylists really seemed to know the natural way my hair would behave. I think the cut is perfect. Also, I like the warm reddish-brown color and the brighter ends are fun.
Claire has an amazing story! She visitied TwoDo in 2004 while she was still in school. Then, as a new mom in 2008, Claire went on to appear on America's Top Model cycle 10 and soon became a top Cover Girl Model here in NYC.

Her hair care routine: Wash and blowdry every couple of days. Sometimes I use a flat iron.
Her complaint: My blonde hair looked washed out and you couldn't see the highlights. My hair was also very dry.
Her comments: TwoDo Salon exceeded all of my expectations. I wanted darker, richer color for the winter (after going blond for my recent wedding) so Megan suggested I try a little red. I love it! I also got a deep conditioning treatment to help with the dryness and frizziness. I love the new cut. It's so much easier to work with my hair now. I am really happy with the change!
